Penny Woodman - Ballet teacher
RAD RTS, (AISTD) Dip., CDE Penny began her dance training at the age of 3 at her local school in Horsham, and completed her professional and teaching qualifications with Elizabeth Hodgson (a senior examiner with the ISTD).

She also studied modern languages and began her career as a bilingual P.A., working both in this country and France, but returned to her first love of dance some 15 years ago, when she began teaching at the Art of Dance Studios in Middleton. She has taught at several other schools in Sussex since then, including the Drusilla Duffill Theatre School in Burgess Hill. Penny has been teaching at Nicola Miles Theatre Studios for seven years.

Penny has also worked extensively in musical theatre, both as a dancer and choreographer. Her choreography has taken her into areas as diverse as pantomime and opera and everything in between. Particular favourites have been West Side Story (Pavilion Theatre, Worthing; Theatre Royal, Brighton), La Cage aux Folles (Theatre Royal, Brighton), Carousel (Hawth Theatre, Crawley), Oliver (Theatre Royal, Brighton).
