After training at NMTS, Charlie went on to train at Bird College, where she gained her BA (Hons) degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. After graduation, Charlie performed and helped create Contemporary performance work at ‘The Space’ Theatre in South East London, whilst using her ISTD DDE qualifications to teach across the South of England and London before moving to Hamburg to join the cast of Mary Poppins the Musical as a Swing. Whilst in Germany, Charlie performed on live television for the German Programme “Das Adventfest der 100,000 Lichter.” On her return before the pandemic, Charlie began working on her Licentiate ISTD Modern and continued this training, as well as teaching, throughout the pandemic. Charlie has now joined the cast of Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre in the West End as a Swing, where the cast have also recently performed at ‘West End Live’ in Trafalgar Square. Charlie is very grateful to be back on Cherry Tree Lane after such a difficult year and is very thankful for her training that has allowed her to have such amazing experiences!
